EPP Group Study Days : Defending our citizens, our economies and our values

The EPP Group Study Days took place on 7th and 8th December 2011 in Marseille (France) on the theme of "Defending our citizens, our economies and our values. The answer is more Europe". The Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation, Jean-Dominique Giuliani spoke on 7th December at a round table "Helping the Arab Spring by strengthening trust". On 8th December, the President of the Robert Schuman Foundation Jean-Dominique Giuliani participated in a seminar organized by the "European Democrat Students" (EDS) on Europe's place in the world.
Love France, love Europe

The 8th edition of the Entretiens de Royaumont, notably together with the Robert Schuman Foundation, took place on 2nd, 3rd and 4th December 2011 at the Royaumont Abbey (France). The Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation, Jean-Dominique Giuliani, took part in a round table on the theme of "Love France, Love Europe" on 3rd December.

On 28th November 2011 the Robert Schuman Foundation and the Embassy of Hungary in Paris organised a conference at the Maison de la Recherche on the relationship between States and religions from the French and Hungarian points of view. Pascale Joannin, General Director of the Foundation introduced and hosted the debate.

On 23rd November 2011 the Archive Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Embassy of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, together with the Robert Schuman Foundation organised in Paris a day of study on the theme of "Independence lost and found, France and the independence of the Baltic States 1921-1991." The Chairman of the Foundation, Jean-Dominique Giuliani, hosted the second round table on the re-establishment of diplomatic relations in 1991.
The euro zone and the future of Europe

Second edition of the Think Tank Forum

The second Think Tank Forum took place on 19th November 2011 at the Sorbonne (Paris). Bringing together 23 think tanks the event hopes to contribute to the major political stakes just five months before the presidential election. Pascale Joannin, Director General of the Robert Schuman Foundation, spoke at a round table devoted to the vital need to rise beyond the national framework.
