Presentation of the Schuman Report 2013 at the European Parliament

On the invitation of Joseph Daul, the President of the EPP Group, the Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation, Jean-Dominique Giuliani presented the "Schuman Report 2013 on the State of the Union" to the European Parliament in Brussels to MEPs, European civil servants, journalists and other professionals. This, the 7th edition in French (4th version in English), insists in particular on the political, economic, diplomatic challenges and opportunities for the European Union in 2013, notably in terms of governance.


Joseph Daul stressed the quality of the "Schuman Report 2013" and underscored the work accomplished by the Robert Schuman Foundation in bringing Europe closer to its citizens.
Alain Lamassoure notes that the graphic and statistical tools are immensely useful in the work of European decision makers who can use the vast amount of data that has been collated to provide content to their ideas. Finally Jean-Dominique Giuliani was optimistic about the EU's capability to rise to the challenges to overcome the crisis. He also expressed confidence in the action taken to step up integration.
