Presentation of the Schuman Report 2011 at the European Parliament

"The Schuman Report on Europe : the state of the Union 2011" was presented at the European Parliament (Brussels) on the 19th April 2011 in front of numerous MEPs and the Vice-President of the European Commission, Antonio Tajani.
"The Schuman Report on Europe : the state of the Union 2011" was presented at the European Parliament on the 19th April in front of numerous MEPs and the Vice-President of the European Commission, Antonio Tajani.
The chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation Jean-Dominique Giuliani presented the report, "which is a thing of optimism, giving realistic fact and figures whilst commenting on them and putting them in perspective, without ignoring the difficulties and complexity, but with an objectivity that argues, better than any other, for the acceleration of the European integration process".
The 2011 Report demonstrates that the crisis can be a new opportunity for progress in the European construction, underlined in the report by Jean-Pierre Audy and Hans-Gert Pöttering who have made much of the importance of the publication of this reference-work, available in French and English.
