6th Franco-German forum on the future of Europe, Club Rhénan

Joachim Bitterlich, Deputy Chairman of Notre Europe and Jean-Dominique Giuiliani, Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation organised the Franco-German forum, the Club Rhénan's, sixth meeting on the future of Europe on 22nd June 2010 in Paris with the support of the Konrad Adenauer and Robert Schuman Foundations. This meeting focused on the French and German economies and the establishment of a European economic government to recover from the economic and financial crisis.
Joachim Bitterlich, Deputy Chairman of Notre Europe and Jean-Dominique Giuliani, Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation organised the Club Rhénan's 6th meeting of the Franco-German forum on the future of Europe. This meeting focused on the French and German economies and the establishment of European economic governance to emerge from the economic and financial crisis.
The first working session addressed the "French and German Economies: incompatible or complementary?". The second, moderated by former French Prime Minister, Mr Edouard Balladur and MEP Werner Langen (CDU/CSU) addressed the following issue: "Can a European economic government help to find a solution to the economic and financial crisis in Europe - if so what should this be?"
Anne-Marie Idrac, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade chaired the dinner/debate.
