On 20th June next in Brussels the Robert Schuman Foundation is organising a conference devoted to fraud in the customs transit system. This will be an opportunity to continue the work of the Kellet-Bowman report on the European transit system, twenty years after its publication.

The Embassies of France and Germany in cooperation with the European Commission in Sweden invite you to a seminar on the latest trends and challenges posed by the surge of populist movements to European democracies and societies. Jean-Dominique Giuliani will attend the round table dedicated to the impact of populism on the political landscape in Europe.

As part of the citizens' consultations initiated by the President of the French Republic and organised throughout the European Union, the European Commission has launched an online consultation. The Robert Schuman Foundation supports this approach by organising and participating in various events in France and in the European Union.

On 10 May, the Robert Schuman Foundation organised, in partnership with the Antall Jozsef knowledge Centre, a seminar in Budapest entitled "The European Parliament, the heart of European democracy". This project is supported by the European Parliament and is structured around three conferences held in Budapest, Warsaw and Strasbourg. In front of an audience of 80 people, students, experts and members of the diplomatic corps, the conference was held at the Danube Palace.

On Wednesday 9 May 2018, the Robert Schuman Foundation organised in Warsaw, in partnership with In Europa, a conference supported by the European Parliament entitled "The European Parliament, the heart of European democracy?'.

On 10 April, the Foundation and the Martens Centre presented the 2018 edition of the Schuman Report on Europe, the State of the Union in French and English in the presence of many MEPs including the 1st Vice-President of the EPP Group, Esteban González Pons.

The Robert Schuman Foundation has organised on 11 April in Brussels a conference entitled "Smuggling, Counterfeiting and Terrorism Financing - Economic stakeholders' mobilization".

The Hanns Seidel Foundation, the Robert Schuman Foundation and the Association for Electrical Engineering (VDE) are organising a discussion on the integration of renewable energies in Europe on 27th February in Brussels.
